I had no considered that they would make a delivery on a truck without a liftgate. I'll have to look into that now, and see if I can't pinpoint the acctual delivery date. It isn't so easy for me to get away from work, but I have plenty of family that stays at home all day and they're capable of lifting such a load.

As to making the bike street legal, no. This bike is strictly a teacher. I want the feel and experience of riding so that when I buy a street bike, I will be making an informed decision, rather than going in as a complete ditz and just buying one that looks nice. I need to know, too, how to operate the bike so that when I go for the testing I dont have to pay 90 bucks to take the KICKSTART class that introduces you to the bike. I know $1200 compared to $90 is quite a throw, but that 90 bucks is for only one day...while that 1200 will last me many many many days, and train me better than one ever could, plus be a form of entertainment and fun.
