I can't find it for the CG-clone engines, though.
I only have hands-on experience with the horizontal cylinder Honda clone engines, where the pit bikes don't use a gear indicator, but the crate engines come wit one, so you either leave it unconnected or buy a blanking plug to replace it.
A spare gear indicator costs $5 delivered form Aliexpress.com in China.

Got to looking at mine today and found the green plug out of the engine by the front sprocket. The engine side of the harness has 6 wires, The OEM hawk harness side has 1 so it looks as if all gears will register with just some minor wiring!!
