Not being too familiar with brakes, but having the exact same thing happen to my Jetmoto, the cylinders seem to give up, and you might as well replace it. I had priced one for under $40 direct from Jetmoto, but if the CBR one fits, you should be in business.
Like I said a few posts up, I think this is why A. Lifan went back to a rear drum brake!
