I am assuming he meant .004 inches. I have a pretty extensive feeler gauge collection, but even I don't have a 4 micron thick feeler gauge.
Either that or he mean .04mm and added an extra zero. .04mm would actually be too tight. .05mm/.002" is the minimum gap tolerance.
