Actually, I feel pretty confident about taking my china bike on a long road trip. If anything mechanically catastrophic happens, like the engine seizes, I figure I'd just push the bike off a cliff and take the greyhound bus. It's pretty hassle free. No insurance, tow truck, repair shop to worry about.
