I spent the better part of yesterday afternoon going through Arpok before I head up to Red Wing, MN a week from Friday. Engine oil and filter, trans oil & stinky final drive lube, plugs, recharge the K&N air filter(almost as big a pain in the ass as swapping the battery), adjust valves, readjust the front wheel bearings(Again. I may be looking into a new front hub soon), and scrubbed the ick off the engine.
FYI, it's been 10,000 miles since I've gone with the adapter to use a 'spin on' oil filter on the rig. Just put that out there because I was told by some 'experts' that the engine would seize within 20 miles if I did that. These were the same folks that said adding the receiver and a loaded bike rack would cause me to flip the rig. Still waiting for both to happen.
And no, it wasn't anyone on the CR crew.
