Idle speed is the minimum operating speed (generally measured in revolutions per minute, or rpm, of the crankshaft ) of a combustion engine . At idle speed, the engine generates enough power to run reasonably smoothly and operate its ancillaries ( water pump , alternator , and, if equipped, other accessories such as power steering ), but usually not enough to perform useful work, such as moving an automobile

well Im not too familiar with all the mechanical terminology but as is above my minimum engine speed was 1200rpm, at 10mph the engine speed was around 4500-5000rpm...I dont know maybe that makes no sense..


Generally I would expect rpm to drop after changing to a higher gear.my bike was not.probs fixed for now.thanks dudes! :P
