Does it not register anywhere that August is in the middle of riding season?
Why not introduce new models in Dec or Jan so people can plan to purchase one for the entire riding 'season'?

Most people who plan to ride already have a bike by June or July. Sure, some don't...and some people will buy at any time all year round, but August is obviously past the peak interest period, IMO.


It's a small point, but it seems silly to me. It's like waiting until the middle of Dec to introduce a kids toy.
It's just too late to create enough buzz to to make significant sales. I'm not surprised that they would sit until the following year.
