Remember all the talk about the "500cc single" China bike that we couldn't find.
Well, I got that idea stuck in my craw and I finally found one, 'cept it's German.
Same as Chinabikes in a way.......they're currently out of production and parts are kinda hard to come by. Lotsa cross reference and do-it-yourself.

I thought about getting the Sport Cup version (full fairing and clip-on bars) but the kids nixed that and insisted on the bare-bike Tour. (hey, I have to live with 'em.) :roll:
660cc, 5 valve, liquid cooled Yamaha single.
Gonna leave it box stock for now and see how it goes.
