I decided to place an order with Metric Parts HQ because I wanted some spokes to lace a 21-inch rim to my Zong's front hub. I think by now it is pretty apparent that Metric Parts HQ is affiliated with American Lifan. American Lifan has settled its lawsuit with Hooper Imports, and is now willing to sell Lifan parts to anyone who wants them through Metric Parts HQ.

However, if you have difficulty getting parts from American Lifan, you will probably also have difficulty getting parts from Metric Parts HQ.
