It's interesting, when it tries to start, it does sound like a 4-stroke (deep guttural). However, it does make sense that it's a 2-stroke (carb feeding the crankcase, plug in the center of the head). I spent a few hours Sunday searching for carbs. Nothing with the carb numbers (TK TG03 53F11). My other issue is that the air intake is on the front. Most of the carbs I'm finding have that reversed, so I can't access the screws from the other side.
The carb intake is roughly 24mm on the inside. I say roughly because it tightens on if that makes sense.
