I believe someone said that it is a suzuki styled engine so the dr200 filter may fit.
Alot of us run shell rotella 15w40, but that is probably to heavy for cooler seasons. You can be the rotella in a synthetic too. I will be switching soon to lighter oil.
5w30 motorcycle oil should work.
