IF u're that "crazy" (ie. can re-wire) Yamaha parts will also works.
Thanks for posting this information, Humanbeing. Can you provide the wiring diagram for this programmable CDI unit? How much does it cost? I don't read Chinese. Can you provide a link to this CDI unit on the vendor's website?

Which Yamaha motorcycles do you think employ the same CDI unit as the Zongshen 200GY-2? Based upon my research at the Yamaha, TW200 forum, I discovered those forum members believe the Zongshen, 200GY-2 electrical system is different from the Yamaha, TW200 electrical system.

If one is patient, and persistent, he can obtain the Zongshen, 200GY-2, CDI unit from Zongshen America, for a very reasonable price. I have bought several CDI units from Zongshen America. Has anyone here bought parts from this Chinese vendor? How easy is the purchasing process? How much does shipping cost? How long does it take for the part to arrive? Personally, I think it would be far easier, and safer, to order the Zongshen, 200GY-2, CDI unit from Zongshen America.
