My 2025 KPT 400

Last weekend i pulled my front sprocket to take measurements to see what fits. I ended up ordering a couple that were close to the same measurements. All i can say is I didn't have to worry about the sprocket nut coming loose. lol Impact wouldn't budge it. It took a breaker bar with a long cheater pipe to break it loose. Definitely over torqued. One of them the splines look slightly different. The other looks like a perfect match. I'll install one after work today to test fit. I'll release Part numbers one confirmed. I went up one tooth. Comes with a 14 and i got a 15 tooth. That might be as big as you can go on the front. I just want to drop the RPM's a little for highway speeds. Getting her ready for a trip in May.

The JTF434-15 is a perfect fit. Drops RPM about 460 RPM @70 mph. Turns right at 6400.

After the front sprocket swap and it still turns over 6000 at 70mph. That's impressively short geared, but it is still just a 400cc twin so it makes sense. I thought my Shotgun 650 was churning along pretty good at 4900rpm, but I also have an extra half an inch of both bore and stroke to work with lol.

Liking the 40-50hp lifestyle? It really is just the right amount of power to be useful, fun, but not excessive.

Are you still loving the bike? I still get people looking for mid displacement adv bikes and the hottest one in my area the 450mt by cfmoto is always out of stock and selling fast. If you keeo saying good things about the bike I will reccomend it to others since this market for mid sized adv bikes is high demand low supply.

This ofcourse depends of tarriffs as this is an unknown on price, but for what it costs atleast when you bought it it was beating out everyone on price out the door while still being capable.

Yep, still loving the KPT. I'm still impressed with the performance of the bike. The 15 tooth front sprocket swap made me like it even more.

If you don't have any major offroad/dirt aspirations the KPT's lack of dealer fees puts it about $2000 cheaper than the the other 400cc+ 'ADV' bikes while typically getting better fuel economy and more complete accessory pack as stock.
