hi all...56k beware...pics
just found the site and thought id come in and say hi.
my names dave and im living in north east u.k. this is the bike im buying in the next few days: ive owned a chinese bike before ( hongdou gy125) which wasnt as bad as i was expecting. ill just say to anyone who owns a chinese bike,THE VIBRATIONS are caused by 2 things.... 1: the engine mounting bolts are too small in diamater for the hole they go through.this can be easilly fixed by a.getting some bigger bolts/b.wrap some masking / insulation tape around the bolts and that will get rid of the vibration temporarily. 2:the chain that comes as standard is absolutely rubbish, get it changed and for a jap spec one (d.i.d. chains are really good quality and are fairly priced) these 2 things will get rid of the vibrations . anyway if you dont mind ill be popping in and out of the site every few hours so hope to speak to youall soon... dave |

Welcome! Nice bikes; I appreciate the 'Arizona' name for your newest addition. There are a few British members here and on the Yahoo! Groups (linked from the 'home' page), as well as a few from Sweden. Last year, we had some Danish members active, but no postings this year from them. I have family in Kent; Faversham to be exact. Where are you?

Some states do not require helmets. The ones that do have laws that say head protection require which can be interpreted as a bandana. I see so many guys on harleys wearing those novelty helmets.
I live in Georgia and helmets are required, South Carolina and Florida do not require them. Not sure about Alabama or TN, but North Carolina does. Allen

in my opinion it should be optional.
i know its a lot safer to wear one but it should be the riders choice. thats life though innit. we all have to do as were told or get fined. grrr  |
