ODB adaptor
Hello,
I have a Helvenco Aero 1000 engine. It's a paramotor engine, for reference here: https://www.blackhawkstore.com/produ...-package-deal/ The engine is based on the Swissauto 250 with fuel injection added. I bought a DN-3000 OBD scanner for it as I know it'll work with it, but I need an adaptor to go from this connector: https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/sh...TsK6mDSssyjWnH to this connector: https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/sh...B3jIe8jb7H0XMP Does anyone know of an adaptor like this or at a minimum know where I could buy the oblong end? I've search and searched the internet to no avail. Thank you, Toni |

by the look of the ends, you are looking for a Fiat Lancia to OBD connector... 3 pin with a locator to the obd 16 pin.

Wow, thank you. I borrowed a scanner and adaptor a while back that didn't have the two extra leads. I'm not sure where I'd connect those. Is it possible they are not necessary?

I'm back. I received the adaptor today and realized that when bogieboy provided the EBay link above I got so excited that the connector matched that I checked out thinking about the gender. My description was confusing too. One end (the 16 pin end) of the adaptor in bogieboy's product photo is fine, the 3 pin end needs to be female pinned. In other words, now that I have the adaptor above, I just need to find this end:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/sh...B3jIe8jb7H0XMP and I can cut the 3 pin end off that came with the adaptor and put it on. Doesn't seem like it should be that hard to find, but it's challenging. The 3 pin end has "PA66 B" on it, but PA66 is on a lot of ends so it's not helpful. Anyone seen a plug like that? Alibaba, Amazon, Ebay, nothing. |

Hi @toniintc, did you manage to get the adapter? I'm also interested in testing this.
Are you pretending to try to remap the ECU or only for diagnostic purposes? |
