Hello from Arizona
I bought a new Lifan GY200 back in 2007, and had bad luck with it. I'm hoping things have improved since then. I am interested in either a Hawk 250 or a TT250.

Yes they have gotten much better. But there don't seem to be any Chinese dual sport bikes available right now. Do you have a line on either bikes? Make sure to have whoever you buy from to check before you pay. This doesn't work with some of these bike dealers like saferwholersale. If they tell you they have any bikes in stock don't believe it. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome aboard and yes the quality and reliability has increased as long as you are mindful of buying something these folks have given their thumbs up on... Hawks and Bashan's seem to top the list for dual sports and then CSC carrying the Zong for dual sport to adventure ridng and street bike......good stuff from all these folks.
