Cg229 help. Couple question on 2021 magician

We all kno our non counter balance bikes vibrate like a dildo. Did valve clearance job went for one ride and thy came loose. So i used blue locktight vut was super carful to not get it anywhere but the nuts....was this a bad idea, they have not come loose yet?
Also can anyone recommend some mirrors that do not get stuck facing down when i hit 40mph plus lol

Finally my bike has 330miles am i still in break in period because something weird happened where it feels like i lost some bottom end poewr but gained top end seith no change in gearing or anything. Any help or comments to any of thes ?'s would b greatly appreciated

I have the same bike with about 275 miles on it. The blue loctite isn't really necessary but I dont think it will hurt anything. As for the change in power I really dont know, mine hasn't really changed. The vibration did reduce on mine though. I put rubber tubes about 11 inches long filled with sand and plugged off with fishing weights into my handle bars. One on each side. This is an old trick, but it works.

Improvements can be pretty dramatic in these engines as they wear in. If you really want to see a boost in performance, get it to about 500 miles and install a new, quality sparkplug. It will make you wonder what the old one was doing...

You probably still do not have your valves set right. They have to be set at TDC of the compression stroke. If you set them on the exhaust stroke they will always appear lose when you check them and will never perform as expected.

As for gaining power after break in, you will probably see the engine rev a bit more freely but you are not going to see a huge increase in power. When the engine feels less tight you push it farther naturally, especially on the road, so there is an illusion of more power.

Best add on for a Magician is a cheap electronic tach so you can really see your RPM.

Im like 99.9% sure i did the valves right. I had to do it 2twice because they came lose after one test ride hince the use of blue locktight. I have an airbox delete with pod filter maybe the filter is clogged? All thts been done is airbox delete, keihin carb kit. My tansmission was acting weird last ride too...has anyone had trans probems with these bikes. Dont think ive seen much on the our trannys lol or any at all come to think of it. Anyways im also going to to get into the head porting soon w/new gasket and exhaust along with new spark plug and i might make a beefier ignition coil. To keep discussion going can anyone reccommend a head gasket , an exhaust, and a spark plug? Alot of yall go with the tt250 gasket right? And i think i was looking at the amazon stone exhaust, is it any good?

Valve job. Genuin keihin carb 105 main 40 idle jets , and check out my breather filter i thinknits soncool. With the airbox delete u take ur breather tube which isnrsther long and pops out right thru the plastics and then filter on the end looks good.
Porting gasket snd exhaust coming soon

Can you attach your pictures to the thread? The link doesn't work on my phone. Did you figure anything out with the change in your power? I was thinking maybe you could pop the old carb back on and see if it changes anything, then maybe you could rule out whether it was fuel related or not. I haven't done anything to my Magician besides 17T front sprocket and chain. Really it idles and runs smoothly, but I'm not really after performance.
