Aftermarket Levers CSC TT250??

Hey guys, broke my clutch lever out riding today. Want some aftermarket levers that will fit in the stock perch as I don’t really want to mess with the electrics near it.

I was told to try levers for the CB500x. The brake lever fit fine but the clutch lever was wayyyyy too big for my perch.

Can anyone help me out here?

Why not just order from the CSC website? I know they never have "free shipping" though.....

I was hoping to find some better ones than CSC has hopefully some shortys. But that is my last resort

I agree, get better as long as you are buying. I want to get a doglegged front brake lever for my Storm. Brake is awesome but the lever is way far from the grip, and moved 3to5 mm to engage. I want it to be MUCH closer to the grip. A half inch would help. 3/4 or even 1 inch dogleg would be great.

This is a 2020 Storm

My front brake is great, but the lever is too far from the grip!
It only moves a quarter inch when you pull it, so it could easily be an inch closer to the grip.

Does anyone have a solution? A complete lever/cylinder/reservoir with adjustable lever, or maybe just a compatible doglegged lever?

Hard to tell from the picture but could be your throttle grip is not slid all the way on the bar so it has room to move over to fit flush against the starting button. The handgrip is closed on the end so you cannot see that the bar ends like 1 inch before the end of the handgrip. Looks like the throttle cable connection is under the bar and can't see if it is hitting or preventing the throttle from moving over. I would take it apart, slide the throttle all the way on, if need be if the starting button is pinned you may need to drill a new pin location.

The throttle grip is all the way on, and the brake lever is clamped right up against it.

But that is not the point. It is a straight, non-adjustable lever, and the master cylinder is engaged immediately when you pull the brake, so the lever barely moves. It is uncomfortable way out there. I want the lever closer to the handgrip (doglegged and adjustable would be best).

I am wondering who has changed this, with a complete new master cylinder/lever assembly, or maybe a compatible dogleg lever (adjustable if possible).

Oh, I misunderstood. I put the master brake side on my HAWK few weeks ago they work good but appear not available at the moment. Something similar would likely work.

The best option is to get a complete universal set. Trying to match up levers to existing perch can be more of a pain than anything. I've installed these on my Hawk and work better than stock. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Han...15&sr=8-5&th=1

Those universal sets are not expensive, and available with adjustable dogleg. I was looking at them. Many available in different colors. Some are machined billet aluminum. I might eventually get them.

A busted clutch lever (OP) is an acute situation

I just want a compatible replacement brake lever with enough dogleg to get it closer to the handlebar.

Let me know if these work well! I'm looking to replace them on my TT250 as well. I had to chop off and sand down the ball ends of the oem ones to fit my guards, but eventually wanted to replace them.

Seems like the clutch will be pretty straight forward, but how involved is the process for the brake?

Don't hesitate to get them. They are way better than stock. Brake is easy. Disconnect the old one and connect the new one then bleed the brakes. I used a Harbor freight hand vac so was quick and easy. Good time to replace the brake fluid.

Finally ordered and received these brake levers. In terms of bleeding the brakes, as well as using a hand vac... Pardon my ignorance, but what does that actually entail? I understand, to a point, that bleeding the brakes is getting the air out of the system so you're only left with fluid in the lines. But how do I actually do that when I replace these? And where would a hand vac come in? Do I need one?
