You're not going to believe this. Doc's 'new' Harley!
Some of you may recall my friend Rand. He's the president of my hospital who let me be the caretaker of his KLR's for a few months last winter and spring. He sold those, but not before I had many good times on them.
Well now I have this Harley Electra-Glide to use as much as I like for as long as I like. He said, "You can take it to Kansas if you want, go nuts". :P It's the first powerful HD I've ever ridden. It will wheelie in 1st or second. It has a bored and stroked high compression motor, free flow heads, larger carb, chip, and all the goodies. ![]() I doubt I'll use it much because I have the Gold Wing but I'll have some fun with it. What you wanna bet Miss Megan will look good on this? 8) ![]() ![]() ![]()

I've never heard someone say "high power" and "Harley" in the same sentence.

Sweet Glide, Doc! Yes, there are some pretty spry HD's these days. My buddy who has the 650 Tiger has a rocketship of an FXD.
You should ride that around for a while with the big kit in it.....and then go compare it to a stock Vision or X-Country! 8)

The down side to the enlarged and souped up engine is that it only gets maybe 25-30 MPG but it's an around town bike so it doesn't matter....much.
The BSA gets an honest 60 MPG every fillup!
