spare gas
I remember reading somewhere on this board a member suggesting using those JOLT energy drink cans for spare fuel. Have any of you tried it?

Frosty suggested the 1 litre legal fuel bottles. I thought that was a great idea.

Look up MSR bottles. Designed for camp fuels.

I use the MSR fuel bottles as well. Just be sure to keep the cap on at all times. During a refill session,I set one (empty) on the workbench without the cap on and knocked it off. The bottle hit the floor neck end first and belt the soft aluminum. The cap no longer seals.....Scratch one bottle.

Does every bodies bike have a reserve tank, just asking, mine does so Im assuming most do, I was not sure the China bikes had a reserve until I got mine!
You do mean filling the Jolt cans with fuel right and not pouring the Jolt into the gas tank right cause that would be cool if it works!lololol...... |

All bikes should have a dual straw petcock of some sort.

My reserve gets me about 2 kms. I usually am riding near gas stations so keeping it topped off isn't much of an issue.

they sell them if you want to put one in pretty much universal, (they) any bike store should have it, just make sure the fuel lines are the same size, they're nice to have on there

Here's a question I hope isn't too far off topic here....after a fill up and a trip odo reset, about how many k's do you run before you start looking to fill again, or expect to hit reserve?
I have just reset my trip odo for the first time. 8O
