zanella speedometer
Well, look at these pictures. Something inside the tachometer came loose. The tach works somewhat until the bouncing copper thingy gets stuck at the base of the tach. I rode all the way to Wheeling today at 11,000 RPM (haha). I didn't even get 3,000 miles before this thing started to die. I have no doubt the tach is going to completely die soon. If anyone knows what that copper thing is and how I could get it out, let me know. That might buy me some time if it doesn't keep getting stuck in there. So my crazy plans to spray bomb the Hawk flat black are on hold. This will drive me nuts until I fix it or replace it. The speedometer is not available on Amazon right now. There is one shown for the Hawk that looks almost identical, but it is missing sensors and has the wrong plugs. I got almost 5500 miles out of the stock gauge, at least they are attempting to keep the quality consistent with OEM in these aftermarket ones. this is the one available now, it has plugs but I cannot remember what the ones on mine look like and I am sure these are not the same. https://www.amazon.com/KAOLALI-Motorcycle-Speedometer-Universal-Tachometer/dp/B0CRHDCJQB/ref=sr_1_5?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.J9RHVoyXO3MYwzuhnx5FF_ o8vx3esBOalRmmtcLFZQ3j_5aCseruHr2VJdJo45kkcfNZjxpr OuDW4qOExwH1HQ2j17e7xbdiTcGyA-wLMEdRFiJzFO0AabXx5ZTHSRv9V1kGmN4h8WZDLf4VIJx3cr1J VgPCavyu0xf0FY33WmmRe1AE8eh5xMuRHoXjcCDYamDMDuZCMi Yb5jutfWPu_5N-FDHswQBjhR2-40UrgHlnBpJ5KapjHHCDuVsMqKvwnVYFoBwRANfxw-yUL8sh_nbi0ExLdTjvR3LKK774JU4.YUM_eVckLjh26frD0_j3 sM5kGE42OC6q5vXeCg-pJ_k&dib_tag=se&keywords=hawk+250+upgrades&qid=172 2012328&sr=8-5
