Do you have the ability to obtain the title in WA? I've done that in BC.

You can register it and ride it in your name easily enough. There is a 2 year delay, IIRC, between then and when you get the actual title. Not hard, but compramises resale.

2 years? That sucks! I'm grateful that I can obtain a title in a little over a month. It's a little-known fact in BC, so I grab old dual sports that have no title whenever I can. If the bike has been previously registered in BC, the total cost is about $47.00, plus actual registration fees.
