American Lifan
Does anyone know what is going on with the Lifans, I know they had me all worked up over the new bikes and the trike that were suppose to come out and how the 400 street bike and the water cooled DS didn't pass the epa, what of the Trike & 200cc DS's in spring or summmer of 2012 ? :?

Did I miss something here or dosn't anybody have any idea of whats going on with the Lifans or American Lifan ? I did see the ride report of Laos on a Lifan and the bike looked newer than an 08 .

From what I understand, they are gone. Lifan is still going strong, but American Lifan is gone. Too many fines from the EPA is what I understand.

Ain't that nice ! Do you think someone else may pick up that line or do you think they will be done for ? I bought aD/S in 08 and just love it ,I never really have any trouble with it.

What goes around, comes around. American Lifan did its best to screw Larry Hooper. However, Larry Hooper is still in business, and American Lifan is defunct.
