The Brozz is going to College!

Hey Guys,
My 18 year old is going off to College this year. He needs an affordable means of transportation (A 79 F150 4X4 351W is NOT it ) so I'm giving him the new Brozz as a graduation present. He dont' know it yet. He's riden the bike and loves it. SO I'm getting it ready to go off to College. I'm going to finish the break in, put new KENDA tubes in the tires, check the spokes again, install new Unibear Chain, change fork oil, install new AGM battery, and adjust the valves again. Is there anything else I could or SHOULD do to ensure reliability? I don't really think he is going to have a problem with this thing. And don't worry I'm going to get myself another Brozz.

I think that is awesome Looks like you have everything covered. Make sure to throw in a slicker suit for those rainy days . Make sure you take a picture of the look on his face when you give it to him.

The only things I can think of are greasing the front axle, the rear axle, and the swing arm bushings.

I've already greased the swing arm bolt, but that thing is still squeeking. When I put the new tubes in, I'm going to remove the swing arm from the bike and grease those bushing and caps and reassemble.

I picked up a pack of grease zerk from Autozone and used a 1/4"x20 tap.
More info on Tap: use a Bottoming or Plug tap so you don't have to pull the swing arm bolt.

I've done the same on my Coolster and the Cazador UTV on every bushing on the front and rear suspension. We go through a lot of water when we ride. I pump them all full with marine grade grease before we ride to make sure no water can get in.

Are you talking this spring or coming fall. Good job dad!

Also check into a large trunk. He may not want because it doesn't look cool, but sure is practical. Check out that one 2lz mounted on his new Blue rx3.

Will he be commuting to school or a resident?

Now you can buy a new 2017 tt250 delivered to home from csc.

Onliest thing, I'm thinking, is the rear shock bushings are where the squeeking is coming from. ARH

Well Friends, The Brozz got introduced to her new owner today. I was SO happy to give my son his first street bike. He was blown away, grinning ear to ear. All he could say was NO WAY, NO WAY! I went ahead and gave it to him because I wanted him to get his permit and go ahead and get some seat time in the small town he lives in before venturing out and battling with cages in more populated area's. She should serve him well, and if not ole Dad will be there to fix it for him. For me, I GOTTA get another bike STAT!
