Hawk tank plastics and cooling
Will my Hawk Cool properly if the tank plastics are removed?

Yes, the only thing I can imagine not cooling as well would be the regulator/rectifier though even that would cool better when not moving which is when it would get hottest so it's a net positive.

The tank plastics are just a styling thing taken from liquid cooled bikes to help direct airflow. If you stuck an oil cooler or two up in those pockets they might serve more of a purpose, but as they sit from the factory, they are just there to make the bike look good. If there was a way to delete them without having the tank look a bit ugly, I would do so.
