Which carb should i be getting for hawk
Hi guys im really confused on what carb i should get for my 2018 hawk250 or should i change out the jets on my stock carb

You can tune the stock carburetor by uncapping the idle mixture screw and adjusting it to 1 1/2 turns out from lightly seated. Add 1 or 2 shims to the needle, and then add a larger main jet, either a 105 or 110 on a stock bike depending on the air temp and your altitude.
The other option is to install a "Mikuni VM26" 30mm carb, easily found on Amazon or Ebay for $20-30, and then jet it accordingly. I recommend a 25 pilot and 105 main jet as a good starting point on a stock bike. Either option is viable, the Mikuni is "easier" if you don't want to deal with trying to unseal the stock carb, the needle has adjustment notches, plus many of us who have run it found it to simply run better overall. https://www.amazon.com/Mikuni-Carbur...ords=VM26+30mm

I still have the stock carb. That said it runs OK But I have to idle it up even with the chole when it is cold to start it. I think I can tune it even better with the mikuni so I am going to get one this spring and see.

I got a Chikuni copy off Amazon and its supposed to be the same carb but I gotta say it runs better even with the same jets sizes. It's way easer to tune. No it's not in my head. It's got great throttle response. For a cheap carb it runs and tunes better.
