I just bought one from T-motorsports.com but it was the unbalanced engine. $1135 shipped. I think they raised the price a $100 since.

http://www.rabbitscooters.com/products/705.htm advertises one with the improved balance shaft for $1375. Never done business with them. Good luck.

My co-worker just ordered a GY200 from Hooper. They have a surplus of red so they are selling them for $100 less then the blue. I just looked at his invoice and it cost him $1199 and with tax total was $1309 shipped.

What size rear sprocket does Hooper's bike come with stock?

No idea, but I'll let you all know about the bike when he gets it.

and one more question: I have read different things that have said they have fuel guages and have seen the sending unit in parts sections but looking at pics of the gauges i dont see a fuel gauge anywhere...is there a fuel gauge on these bikes?

I would try either Brian or Hooper, but check with Hooper to see if he has the engine you want. Brian's GY-5 will have that engine, BTW. Hooper's is a GY-2--slightly different bike.

I got my gy-5 from Brian, great service, great guy. It's a 2007 with a drum rear.

Please tell me why you would want a disc on the rear, I'll tell you why I would not( not sarcasm, I really want your reasons).

I think the disc on the rear is too easy to damage with the smaller diameter of the rear tire compared to the front.

The brake hose always stick out for something to catch and rip them off.

I have never had a rear drum on a bike that didn't work every time and if I wanted to lock it up they work just fine.

My rear disc will lock if I want it to as well... but, why would I want it too? I honestly don't car what my rear brake is, I definitely want it to work, but as long as it does, and my front brake is good I don't care how the back one works...
