Carb settings Tao tao tbr7
Has anyone came up with a semi decent jet size chart for these bikes.
For me initially it would be a new build 2200ft elevation. and then Same elevation but air box mod and then Air box, exhaust and elevation. Hopefully the above make sense. But for now what would be needed for stock bike at stated elevation. Last edited by Lymelizzard; 04-05-2019 at 01:58 PM. |

I wouldn't even worry about elevation till you hit 4000ft. And the 3 stages..
1.5 turns out on the mixture screw with a 105 main. 2 turns out on mixture screw with 110 main. 3rd step will require atleast a 115 main and you might have to drill the pilot to .45mm. |

Increasing pilot jet may require a decrease in main jet
Look at what Cleveland cyclewerks sells for their cg based bikes with ported head open exhaust etc |

Thanks, for the replies. Looks like gonna have to break the carb open first thing. I shut the petcock off. It's leaking around the bowl.
One additional question whats the best replacement carburetor? |
