Help with a front brake lever!

I dropped my brand new Hawk on the ground today yes I know I’m an idiot that goes without saying. What I need is where to get a new set. I looked on EBay I can’t find a Hawk or TBR7 specific listing and I’m afraid of ordering the wrong one. Aftermarket brands are great as long as they fit without any mods.
Thanx for the help

I replaced mine with these. Much better than stock levers. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F183635672210

Invest in some bark busters. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F183933727268

I do believe grom, cb300 and cb500x levers work, but I have never verified for myself.

Thank you, I just ordered the set. And yes I’m ordering the bark busters as soon as I can find the set I like. Believe it or not. I really like the set that’s on my TBR7.
Thank you again.

I found some on Amazon in the 20-30 dollar range by "JFG-Racing" there is a youtuber "Karmakazi" has a video where he installs them on a Himalayan.

These bark busters have an extruded aluminum back bone and are pretty tuff unless they send you the cast aluminum which are brittle. The first set I was sent were cast aluminum and broke while installing. They sent a replacement which was the extruded aluminum. Much higher quality.

Thank you Relicmoto I ordered those JFG Racing hand guards in Red. They are almost the same ones JerryHawk suggested. In fact they might be the same ones only cheaper.
Thanks guys. I appreciate the help.

I'm going to second what Jerry said about the hand guards, My first set arrived and the aluminum part looked like cast aluminum and they broke while i was trying to tweak them while fitting. I just ordered another set and the aluminum part is much smoother and so far they are doing great , even had a couple of light downs with them and no problem.

The issue is which ones are which ? the prices are all about the same ($23-$28)

I have a TBR7 and the factory handguards do look good and will keep stray bushes and branches from slapping your fingers but they are very flimsy and will break on a light layover, i am pleased with my handguards(the second set anyway).

I have found that my TBR7 hand guards are surprisingly strong. As I posted a couple of weeks ago my buddy laid my bike down pretty hard. No damage to the hand guards what so ever. Except of coarse the scuff marks from hitting the ground. I know the hand guards hit because of the scuff marks. That being said they are just plastic but very flexible plastic. It’s been down twice no damage yet. Fingers crossed. Did manage to bend the handle bars, that was not fun for my buddy that dumped it.

My new levers show up today. Thank you JerryHawk for recommending them. I never know with any confidence what parts to order. Anyway I will post some pix when I get them. And thank you Relicmoto for the hand guard recommendation they were a little small but I think they look great.

Looks good. The new levers will work much better with the bark busters compared to the stock levers.
