TBR7 Frame/Swingarm replacements?

I remember posting something about a year or so ago in a thread where people were having rust problems with shoddy welds on their TBR7 frame and noticed mine has gotten worse while in storage.

So I wanted to know if anyone has repaired theirs somehow or replaced it all together? If replaced; how did that affect your registration/inspection with a different VIN?
