Spark plug cap falling off

Didn't find anything relevant in the forum search...

Just as the subject implies, my spark plug cap keeps jostling loose. I can't seem to press it down any farther or harder. I have never owned a bike in any way, and the bike didn't come with assembly instructions of course... do I need to do something else other than firmly seat it onto the spark plug? Crimp it with something?

PS: This thing is a mother to kick start.

Chances are the resistor cap is just gibbled, or possibly someone sneezed on the ass'y line, and put on one for a stud instead of a terminal type.

Either way, they are cheap and plentiful, and not something you have to get froma China dealer. ANy bike shop should be bale to hook you up, and even some auto parts places. NGK makes them.

Take the example with you (It jsut threads off the wire) If I remember right, the NGK number is LB05EZ-- But I could be completely wrong too... I'll look it up and get back with it...

Either way, they ran about 8 bux or thereabouts.
