Oil seapage
Is it normal to see signs of oil seapage at the head gasket area on an 8000-mile engine?

I'd ignore seepage as long as it's not a real leak and/or you are losing compression and/or power. If that were the case I'd replace the head gasket. With a pushrod engine that should be pretty easy I think.

Normal for chinese or jap.
![]() I have seen alot of older hondas/yams streetbikes with leaks there. Bikes with less than 20K on them. As for normal no. It shouldn't leak. Sounds like you may be in need of a new gasket. Allen
