broken spokes

How many broken spoke is too many? I've been riding around with two. None of the local bike shop carries any individual spoke. They want me to order a whole set for a hundred bux.

Is this on your HiBird or Lifan? If it is the HiBird I would suggest saving the head ache trying to get a spoke that will fit and send a sample to Buchannons Spokes. Order 4 or 5 so you have a couple of spares. Should cost you less than 20 bucks.

Thats what I did after spending alot more for spokes that did not fit. Turn around time was less than a week.

I wouldn't be too worried about two if your not doing a lot of hard braking, quick accelerating, severe leaning, and hitting jumps however each one plays a role, so I wouldn't put it off to long. Good luck.

Fix it. The fewer spokes beaing the load, the more likely more will fail. Motorcycling is dangerous enough so anything you can do mechanically to improve your chances should be done.
