PR Industries Hummer 250cc (2010 model...)

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm new to this forum and wanted to give my impressions of this bike. This is just for anyone that was a little curious and thinking about maybe purchasing this bike. I have only had this bike for about a month now but so far so good. I previously had a giovanni 110cc dirtbike/pitbike which was an 04 model which i had no major problems ever with. I can honestly say that this bike sure does ride allot better and way more comfortable. This bike has the 21'' front tire with a 18'' rear tire and the seat sits at 38'' tall. The rear shock is Nitrogen Charged and the front forks are Adjustable Rebound. The rear shock was a little stiff when i got it but after a few rides is allot softer and broken in nicely. I find all new shocks on bikes are like that. The engine is the older pushrod motor but runs and idles extremely nice. The power of the bike i find is very good considering i used to ride honda Xr 200's and 250's back in the day. This bike seems to runs easily just as fast and good as those bikes to me. I can honestly say i am very happy with everything on the bike except kickstarting wise. Not too sure why but seems hard to kickstart even when warm? I've never had a problem kicking over any dirtbike ever but this one is hard for some reason? No big deal cause has the electric start which works awesome. If i had to rate this bike out of 10 i would give it a 7.5/10. I consider that a nice score. I mean its not a jap bike which would score a 10 always in my opinion. All in all i'm very happy with everything from power to ride comfort with this bike. I know its still a little to earlier to tell but i've been out on this bike a few times and have maybe 12 hours of riding on it. Hope this small review maybe can help someone thinking about this or a Gio dirtbike. Thanks cheers Jason...

Welcome! Thanks for the review.

I remember some chatter about the Hummer bikes from the old dead Giovanni forum; the tank is much larger than the Gio, which is a good thing if you plan on long rides. The extra seat height is also a bonus for taller riders.

The hard kickstarting issue might be due to a carb that's a little rich. What does the plug look like? If it's black and sooty, it's time to raise the clip on the slider one notch and see if it improves. I'm about to start messing with the jets on my old XR, because it's a bear to start when hot.
