FORK OIL CHANGE ON LIFAN GY-5
:? Hello!, Has anyone changed the fork oil on a 200CC LIFAN GY-5 or similar HONDOID with USD FORKS? This would make a great tech HOW-TO OR STICKY for all CHINA RIDERS! At the very least, how about the quantity of fork oil or ATF needed per fork??? PICTURES WOULD BE GREAT!!! THANKS, SINCERELY, RICK SAVIDGE. :?

I did mine on both the hondanoid and Q.
All I did was drop them out, flip them over and pour the oil out into a mechanics measuring cup. Then replaced the volume oil I poured out with some new, good 10W fork oil. (I rounded up.) The Hondanoid worked out REALLY well. ![]() The Q still seems like it's low. Gonna add another 50 cc's when I get around to it.

The month I plan to install new oil seals, dust wipers, and fork oil in my Zong's USD forks. I will post a thread after I complete the job.
