Got One!
I bought a new (2008) Quangqing-Huansong Hsun 200 yesterday. Pictures attached. Bought it from a local dealer already assembled and serviced. He went along to the Notary to get it titled and tagged. Everything went smooth. He had it "listed' at $1499, so I offered him $1400 and he took it. I could have gotten one via the internet for less, but I figured it was worth it to get one ready to go. I'm not real knowledgeable about these bikes, but I noticed that it has front and rear disc brakes, tachometer, and the stuff for the street - lights, turn signals, etc. It didn't come with mirrors though, so I'll have to get them and then get it inspected for PA.

Here are the spec's on the bike I found on a net search..... Looks good! Funny, the manufacturer site calls it a "Motor scooter"

Hey, congratulations -- We're TWINS!
I got hosed buying mine though, $1,899.00 CAD plus taxes. ($1.00 CAD= $0.988 USD as of today) Make sure they used locktight on EVERYTHING or your going to start loosing things. My tubes where mega cheapo, I suggest you get new ones before you end up under a truck when they pop. What part of North America are you riding?

You may consider Gorilla Glue for the engine mounting bolts. It may save you from broken parts or losing parts due to vibration...Plus your butt will thank you.

Congrats on your bike. It looks like the Yamoto branded bikes that were sold here a few years ago, but stopped selling due to a lost lawsuit that Yamaha filed against them.
Chinaguy, the link you gave to HSUN cracks me up because of the size of the "EPA" they have on their page when you scroll down. They must be mighty proud! |

Just like my Viva, without the inverted forks and different decals of course.
Nice bikes! ![]() As already mentioned, change out the inner tubes right away, they are dangerous. :x Next, a small rear sprocket will make her happier on the road. ![]()

Took the bike out for a little spin today, and I found out that what everybody has been saying about these bikes is true.
They vibrate quite a bit, they are heavy, and they are not really geared for the street. But, they are a blast to ride! I'm gonna have to do a few things: get mirrors, check into the vibration (do something with the engine bolts, as has been suggested), and start looking for a taller rear sprocket. All in all though, I am really impressed with the bike. It's really fun to ride! |
