New Venom x21rs rider in missouri.

Hi, just received my x21rs on Monday. Don't have plans for it other than exhaust and carb. I've ordered an AR exhaust, but I have to modify it. Has anyone tried installing a z125 exhaust on their vader, or boom bikes? It looks like the exhaust port on those is angled as well.

Greetings!

Welcome to the forum! I haven’t tried a Z125, so I can’t help you there. If you do get one, let us know how it works out.

Enjoy the Ride!

Did a few upgrades. Shorty levers, grom integrated taillight(fender delete), grom modified AR exhaust. Did an oil change as well. I'm Still waiting on venom to send me the right foot peg that came up missing when it arrived.

Welcome! You get extra points for posting a photo as a brand new member. I would check to see which footpeg fits these bikes as it could be a while before you get yours. Or perhaps Venom will grab one off another bike but they might be drop-shipping so won't have a bike to part out? They have a good reputation, but they might not get a replacement from the mfg. for a while. With Chinese bikes, you aren't looking at Honda quality or service, so be prepared, and sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands such as buying a footpeg.

Thanks for the advice. I've already bought a set of grom pegs since they don't seem to know when it ship. It's all good since it's a nice upgrade over the stock pegs. They are pretty good at customer service so no hard feelings.

Exhaust Question

Hey Vx21rsjohn,

How did you modify the exhaust to fit?

Enjoy the Ride!

Sweet looking bike Vx21rsjohn
A little off topic but can you share a picture of how you mounted your camera on your helmet? I just recently bought a similar style helmet and haven't quit figured out how I'm going to mount it. I want to mount up front like yours. I had no problems mounting on my off road style helmet.

I used a combination of pipe bending and an exhaust adaptor. My buddy that bent the 90 of the exhaust pipe didn't bend it back far enough. It has to go from 90 degrees to 110-115 degrees to fit correctly. So I used an exhaust adaptor to make up for the rest. Hope that helps

What brake fluid are y'all putting into your vaders? Dot 3 or dot 4?

Nice. I haven't taken mine out yet. Just been changing stuff that I don't like and making sure everything is tight. Do you know the torque specs for the motor mount bolts? I plan on switching them out with some grade 10 when I get some miles on it. I'm going to register it next week.

I don't but have read over tightening them plays a part with them breaking also doing wheelies, "which I haven't done yet". I can't even get to the lower one without taking half the bike apart. Some of these type of bikes have the nut located on the other side of the sprocket cover. It isn't as such on my bike.
