2017 Venom x22-S

i finally gave in and ordered the 125cc yesterday 2/28/2018.
has anyone come up with a list of popular mods yet?
venom told me these are cloned after ninja 250.
example of popular mods on other bikes: carb, exhaust, chain, sprockets.
i know to replace fuel lines from prior china bikes. i wish there were peeps on this like the 250 hawk. please send me in the right direction if i am in wrong place

You will have to research the Venom X22 from several months ago (the X22 without any letter after 'X22'https://www.venommotorsportsusa.com/collections/super-pocket-bikes/products/x22-super-pocket-bike-125cc?variant=30465839181 ). I recall a couple people bought them and prepped them. No member has compared them to the Vader as far as prepping them, but the engines are nearly identical as Boom, the manufacturer of the Vader is also the mfg. of the Ninja full-size replica and is able to certify these under the same EPA certificate meaning all engine necessities/prep should be the same.

your quoted links are old ones and aren't as good as the new ones i just now will mention:
be sure to get a carb with mikuni #15 pilot jet. most come with dreaded #38 keihin jet and you dont want that one as its too hard to tune. find a vm22 listing that shows a picture of a tune kit that comes with it like this #15 pilot jet(keihin jets will look different).https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carburetor-...72.m2749.l2649(this one is #15 pilot jet and is the one you want)it comes as #15 pilot and #95 main so you will know the #'s without removing bowl.

as far as the spinner for mounting the carb: the oring one sucks as oring will blow out.
this one is best (without oring) and comes with correct screws(be sure to get correct screwdriver for best torque without striping it).:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/26mm-Carb-C...72.m2749.l2649

yes made huge difference!

oh man I just don't know how you and some people find parts for Venom bikes..

it's not like you can type in "Venom X22" and eBay will show you sprocket for it

It's a pit bike motor. The same sprocket for the grom works. For my Icebear Fuerza, I used a Grom 17T sprocket.

I want to replace the carb on my Apollo 125 Pit bike. What jets fit that carb you linked on Amazon? That is a 26mm carb, I'm wondering if I should go with a Mikuni VM22 for my 125cc pit bike.

the link is a vm22 mikuni, that is also known as a 22mm carb, but 26mm at connector to intake pipe.it tapers from 22mm venturi(inside carb measurement) to 26mm at opening to intake pipe. i plan on using a 115 bc i used my 120 jet on a different bike already from my kit. i would use a 100 if i were leaving the stock exhaust on it. 115 should be good for exhaust upgrade bc the exhaust flow would be faster.
