That's fun to bench race, but I'm inclined to doubt the accuracy. I'm betting it's a typo for 229.

that's what I think as well, but it DOES say I have a 300!
I'm going to make sure and save that sticker so that I can tell others it's that size. |

Could it be the maker put that on so a 229 could pass a 300 pollution test?

the hawk that I was looking at when visiting a local dealer had a different sticker on it. in fact, it didn't have the graphics on it either. it was a much smaller sticker than the one that came on mine. however, it did identify it as a Haosen RPS Hawk. I beleive it's a chinese plot to keep us all off-guard while they infiltrate our markets with quality clone devices. |

My 250 Rhino (230?) is listed as a 150 on the frame tag. Their documentation accuracy is astounding! LOL!

- To expand on NzBrakelathes point , what with the new Tariffs on Chinese bikes pushing their cost upwards ,they are arriving at that "price barrier" that people just can't justify paying given Chinese build quality ,even though it has improved greatly over the last decade. Once you hit that $4k US dollars price point you are looking at enough money to just buy a good used Japanese bike of the desired type.,rather than buy a new Chinese model .It will be interesting to see what China does to address the situation in the future.
