Sounds like you got a heck of a deal on what is essentially a brand new bike. If it sat that long then I would expect some small work here and there ahead of you. Definitely pull the carb and look it over. I would also be prepared to replace most of the rubber lines as well. Change the enigine oil and crank it over without fuel for a little bit to circulate the oil through the motor as well.

I remember the Kazuma Cheetahs from the mid-00's being discussed here, which is what I am guessing you bought. No one really knew much about Chinese bikes back then, but thanks to experience and this site, it seems that these things can go on forever as long as you are willing to turn a wrench.

Ran across this thread last night. its the same exact bike shown in this thread.
http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...ghlight=huawin I cleaned the carb out which was pretty dirty. put some fresh gas in the tank changed spark plug & oil. and she fired right up. but its bogging really bad when i give it some throttle. does anyone have a service manual for these lifan 200cc motors? I want to check valve adjustments. And carb settings. |

Search CG125 valve adjustment; that will answer your questions (it doesn't matter that the displacement is different).

I can't see in the picture is the engine is a CG or CB clone. Pics of that bike on Google appear to show a CB clone engine.

The starter says cb200. Will that indicate it's a cb clone?

In retrospect, I also think it's a CB. If it has caps on the valve cover that can be unscrewed to reveal the valves, it's a CB that has an OHC.
