Baja Motorsports Wilderness Trail 250
Well as i mentioned in my Gio X33 thread i traded the bike off for two ATVs...this is one of them. I am not exactly sure what year it is yet as i wasn't able to get a look at the vin. As you can see in the pics its kinda chilling in the bush.
I did find out it has a winch on it and i was informed that it did run and was a recovery after some kids took it out joyriding by hotwiring it. So i will need to do some repair work to the harness and will most likely end up installing a universal key switch or see if i can order a stock replacement. General plan for this one is to get it running for the fiancee and most likely fitting it with a carrying case on the rear rack for certain.

I'm not sure what the 250 was copied from, but the 400 Baja was a dead ringer for a Yamaha Bruin.
Looking forward to following your progress on this.

From what i have read so far the 250 seems to be a clone of the 250 Beartracker.

I was able to compare a Bruin and a Baja 400 next to each other, and the only differences I found were the number of headlights, the colour and what I presume to be a low oil pressure switch. Everything else was identical. I presume that the 250 will be nearly identical to the Beartracker.

Still have it and it is still sitting in the very same spot. Life kinda took a HARD right on me for a bit while getting ready for the wedding last year and whatnot. Hopefully this summer i can dig the thing out and try to get it going.

Will do! i do know it will probably need a new wiring harness or at least the portion where it goes to the key.
