Looped the Hawk during Practice
Was doing some wheelie practice on the hawk when...I looped it. First on tarmac crash since I started riding. Hurts a bit more than a grass/dirt fall.
Just started the channel up a couple weeks ago, thought I'd come here to pimp it. Riding a Hawk 250 with an improved/upgraded carb, air box delete filter, street tires. If its not too much trouble to ask. Could you please let the video play all the way through, It helps with the statistics and video promotion, and doesn't cost anything but some bandwidth. If your feeling generous you could do the same with the other videos I posted. Anyways thanks for checking it out. |

Watched the video--too bad about the crash! But, at least it is a $1500 bike vs. a more expensive bike! Subscribed as well.
When Jay Leno was contracted with Doritos, there was a line in his commercials that went something like "Crunch all you want, we'll make more..." I think "Crash all you want, we'll make more..." can apply to Chinese bikes ![]()

I didn't. I just reached my foot around and pushed the lever up or down. New parts will be here tuesday. Shift Lever with folding nub and tail light/plate bracket. For all of 35$ shipped or so.
I knew it would happen eventually.

Cool video. And ouch, I've crashed more times than I can count on dirt without too much damage, that asphalt looks unforgiving lol. Where did you order parts from?

Wow....that sucks. It doesn't take long to learn to keep it on the dirt for that stuff. My older brother's still a wheelie fiend at 59 years old and has it down....but it took lots of "gravity lessons" on a dirt bike on dirt in his younger years.
On the upside, sounds like the Hawk's valves are adjusted just right!

I like the sound of your Hawk, and I'd like one with a good set of crash bars, because I want to practice some of the "Ride like a pro" tight-turn, low speed maneuvering, without fear of breaking $1000 worth of tupperware on my Suzuki scooter.

Yup, a 650.
I'd like a 250 like the Hawk to push different buttons, but it's got to be cheap |
