New rear hub/wheel/sprocket setup???
Hey I just figured out that the stock rear sprocket to hub setup isnt too great. has anyone upgraded their rear wheel? maybe with more traditional cush-drive hub from a dirt bike? Right now my roketa has a snap ring holding the sproket on to the hub and 4 posts from the sprocket going into the hub...any ideas!? thanks!

Actually, it's a pretty good setup if you keep the studs tight. This design has been around on bikes for a long time. Worst trouble with the China bikes is the rubber cushes give out after a while. You swap the hub out to a newer dirtbike style where the sprocket bolts direct to the hub, but that cush drive is there for a reason. Without it, you'd be shocking the drive line pretty good, and I am not sure the China tranny would take it long.

I think there are differences in material quality on these Chinese bikes. You might try some studs from a Lifan if they are the same size. Mine have over 2000 miles so far, mostly off road, with no problems.

yeah my bike has 34 miles on it. The studs were very tight, that wasnt the issue. The problem was the steel was soft of something and the stud after the collar was just sheared off..anyways, I just got some grade 8 bolts the same length and stuck em in, tack welded both sides and put it back together. ill probably look into a new rear wheel, but in the meantime, it works. BTW which dirt bike wheel will fit right on with no spacing issues? thanks!
