Front brake not releasing
The front brake lever on my 2005 Roketa RSM-200 enduro is not releasing back after the brake lever is squezed.I have bled the line twice out thru the bleed screw with only short term results til it happens again. The brake lever feels sloppy and is slow to return. When I removed the brake reservoir cover the first time their was a half moon sliver of metal in the fluid. Is my only option to order the complete system for $114.00 ?

By the sounds of things you may only need the master cylinder but it is hard to say without being the one working on it. I am a parts guy in Canada and I likely have the whole assembly you would need for about $75.00 if you want to send me a picture or two I can tell you for sure. Cheers, Art

Sounds like you need a master cylinder.
That price sounds really high too. Allen

Just to be clear, you are saying the lever doesn't return ?? Have you tried loosening the bolt to make sure the lever isn't being pinched too tight?? If that's not it, then check on eBay. Any master cylinder with the same size banjo fitting will work. I'd look for something off a Japanese MX / enduro bike. You should be able to pick one up for < $10.00!

Also make sure it is a standard 7/8" bar mounted master cylinder. This is common, but a few bikes had 1" bars.
