Bought a Taotao 125G

My son has been riding a Chinese made 04 Panterra 90 ATV for the last two years. It has ran well but it's suspension is very hard it's plastic isn't aging well. I've been shopping for a newer ATV for him and considered everything from a new Taotao 125G up to an Artctic Cat 150. The front runners were the Taotao and a Yamaha Breeze 125. A local person was selling a like new 08 125G. We looked at both on Saturday and while I liked the Yamaha my son liked the Taotao. I liked the price of the used Taotao and also felt the Yamaha was a bit too fast for him. He is 9 years old. We got the 125G and I'll bank the rest of the money for when he is ready for a larger unit. We took it on the trails yesterday. It did pretty well but the tires it has are not good in snow. They did okay otherwise. The Yamaha was obviously a much more solid unit. We will probably end up with one down the road.
