Does the 170cc kit require boring of the case halves ?

This is exactly the info I'm after though. Thanks
Might be a stupid question. But in first post I asked if this was long or short case ?
My guess is long. Guess I need to know for what belt I need

Thanks again

Dave

Here is a link to the red springs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCOOTER-GY6-...a5ebfc&vxp=mtr

There is also yellow. 1500 rpm.

Slider weights. These are 10g.

I'll have to read through that thread later tonight. Thanks for this link aswell. I'm sure it'll be very helpful to me. As I'll be tearing into this soon I hope.

I have 10g sliders in a new variator. My variator was broken. I also have the yellow springs.

This buggy has plenty of grunt for us, but our yard is flat. We can put two adults in and drag one. Don't now about top speed. Maybe 30mph.

I would suggest going the same way. It should climb hills well with one person.

FYI. I found the variator with the sliders for about $30. Having an impact wrench is almost a necessity for this job.

Sliders, springs, new belt. Look for a bando or gates belt too.
