Wonderfully done, young lady. You're evolving from a Sprite to a Moto-Sorceress!

Paper clips and wig pins are always to be found in my tool box for just that purpose. You have conquered a "non-normal" electrical problem that many folks would simply give up on and have a dealer take care of, quite likely for $200-300, if not more. At your leisure you can learn solder splicing then apply it to the repaired area. One step above that is to get the correct pins and make a replacement wire to have it all appear as if it never happened.

BTW, did you make any new riding friends at the BRC2?
