Hawk / TT250 Noise. Normal???

TT250 now has 350 miles. Runs great! Power and shifting has really improved. I have done 2 oil changes.
Two questions for y'all.. Keep in mind, I'm new to enduro's...

When letting off gas, engine makes pop, pop or backfire noise. Is this normal???

Also, when accelerating, I hear a knocking noise. Sounds kind of like a car pre-detonation / spark knock, but not quite as much rattle sound. I run ethanol free 88 octane gasoline or higher. I also add Lucas Fuel Injection treatment as CSC suggests. The chain is adjusted to spec. It's always done this and hasn't diminished or increased in loudness.

Do any of you experience this on your TT250 or Hawk? Because the bike runs so well, I'm beginning to think these are normal characteristics.

Really appreciate your feedback!
