Just a new guy here

Hey all, just a quick greeting. I'll mostly be lurking, but I'll post here and there probably. I'm not as much of a rider as much as I am a tech. Found the site looking for help diagnosing a handful of codes being thrown on a Lifan Xpect we assembled today. I'll post else where about it. If it's not too far off topic though, I was going to ask about tools. So far I've got a lot of the basics and a few of the more specialty tools(comp tester, flywheel puller, chain breaker, etc) but I was thinking of some sort of scanner. If feel like there going to be more EFI over time and I figured it might be worth it.

I know I can always count the flashes, but are they all always the same, from manufacturer to manufacturer? Is an 11 always going to be the same? This is something I should post else where lol anyways, nice to me y'all.
